Text Box: We practice the traditional worldwide art of
Shotokan Karate-do.
Karatekas build physical, mental, and spiritual strength using kihon (basic blocks, punches, and kicks), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring and self-defense) that were developed and modernized by Gichin Funakoshi – techniques that build strength, flexibility, endurance, and focus. We incorporate techniques from Okinawan karate, jujitsu, and aikido where they enhance our effectiveness.
Our students aspire to the highest standards of performance to first maximize their effectiveness and then to move beyond merely practicing the physical to living the art. We never compromise these standards and we constantly seek ways to accelerate your learning.
